I've gotten into the habit of putting on some background music or white noise whenever I'm studying or working.
Usually I end up going to YouTube, finding a long video and putting it on in the background. But I always felt it was a little annoying using YouTube specifically for this — ads, recommendations, distractions, keeping the video open, etc.
I wanted something that was just for background sound. Open it, choose what you want to listen to, set a time, and get back to work.
So I ended up building one for myself.
It's free and you can use it for white noise, brown noise, rain, ambient sounds and other background sounds while studying, working or focusing or sleeping.
I've been using it myself and shared it with a few friends, so I thought I'd share it here too in case anyone else has the same habit.
