I built an open GPT Image 2 prompt gallery with 400+ prompts and templates
I’ve been experimenting with gpt-image-2 and noticed that good examples are scattered across many places: X, Reddit, Xiaohongshu, prompt communities, blog posts, and screenshots.
The problem is not only discovery. Even when you find a good image, the reusable prompt structure is often hard to extract.
So I built GPT Image Lab:
And a companion GitHub repository:
https://github.com/peterRooo/awesome-gpt-image-2-prompts
What it includes
The collection currently has 400+ gpt-image-2 prompts and templates, covering:
- Portrait and photography prompts
- Poster design prompts
- Infographics and card layouts
- UI mockups
- Product visuals
- Packaging design
- 3D scenes
- Character illustration
- Text rendering examples
The site is designed as an image-first gallery: look at the result first, then open the prompt and adapt it.
Why I made it
When working with image generation prompts, I usually do not want to start from a blank page. I want to find a close reference, understand the structure, and replace the subject, scene, camera, lighting, material, and format details.
That workflow is much faster than writing a prompt from scratch.
What is next
I’m adding lightweight tools around the library:
- Prompt builder
- Prompt improver
- Prompt translator
- More structured prompt templates
If you are experimenting with gpt-image-2 prompt workflows, I’d love feedback or contributions.
