[Digest] Java, Kotlin, Spring, Cloud, and More - Episode 1

I'm subscribed to many different tech-related newsletters, podcasts, telegram and youtube channels and so on. And one of my colleagues came to me recently and asked if I would like to post a weekly digest with news, events, and articles on Java, Kotlin, Spring, cloud, and more. And I decided that this is actually a great idea! So, here is the pilot version, let's see how it goes.

☁️ 11 years of hosting a SaaS: a story of how the system migrated from one cloud to another, and what takeaways the author comes to (TL;DR: managed services save time and nerves)

🌱 ChatGPT Spring Boot Starter: the name says it all. Worth a try.

🌱 Optimize Spring Boot: Tips and Tools: some hints while developing applications with Spring. What caught my attention are spring-boot-devtools, Exception Analysis, and Component Indexing.

🧭 Migrating Netflix to GraphQL Safely: how Netflix migrated mobile apps to GraphQL with zero downtime. It has everything we love - monolith, AB-tests, and Federated GraphQL.

☕️ Java 21 is planned to release on September, 19th 2023. This is an LTS version. The feature set is fixed now and no more JEPs will be targeted to this release. Here is a comprehensive overview of what's in it.
