Asaaju Peter Slams Efon Local Government Over Poor Electricity in Efon Alaaye

Asaaju Peter has strongly criticized the Efon Local Government over the persistent lack of stable electricity supply in Efon Alaaye, describing the situation as unacceptable and a major setback to development.

Efon Alaaye, the headquarters of the local government and a key town in Ekiti State, is known for its growing population and economic activities. Despite its importance, residents continue to face unreliable power supply, which has negatively impacted businesses, education, and daily living.

Speaking on the issue, Asaaju Peter expressed concern that a whole local government area could still struggle with consistent electricity in this modern era. He noted that the situation has become a serious nuisance, affecting small businesses, limiting productivity, and discouraging economic growth in the community.

He further emphasized that electricity remains a critical factor for development, stating that without stable power, meaningful progress in areas such as entrepreneurship, education, and digital growth will remain difficult.

Asaaju Peter also called on the Ekiti State Government to take urgent steps to address the situation. He urged relevant authorities to prioritize sustainable and long-term solutions, including improved distribution systems and alternative energy sources, to ensure residents are not left behind in the stateโ€™s development agenda.

As concerns continue to grow among residents, stakeholders are being urged to act swiftly and restore reliable electricity to the community.
