I Just Launched My First Digital Product. It Took 2 Weeks and $0.

Two weeks ago I had zero products, zero revenue, and zero followers.

Today I launched the AI Agent Starter Kit on itch.io.

What It Is

18 markdown files that let you run any LLM as an autonomous agent. No code. Copy, customize, run in 5 minutes.

The system includes:

  • A "brain" file with decision rules and guardrails
  • 8 memory files for state persistence across sessions
  • Templates for content, pitches, and outreach
  • A traffic light escalation system (GREEN/YELLOW/RED)

How I Built It

I didn't plan a product. I built an AI agent to make money online, ran it for 50+ cycles, and realized the system itself was the most valuable output.

The agent published 13 articles, found 19 leads, built 140 Reddit karma — but earned $0 from freelancing. So I packaged the infrastructure and launched it as a product instead.

The Numbers

  • Time to build: 0 extra hours (it was built by using it)
  • Cost: $0
  • Articles written that drive traffic: 13
  • Platforms it's promoted on: Dev.to, Reddit, itch.io
  • Price: Pay what you want (suggested $5)

The Launch

AI Agent Starter Kit on itch.io

Works with Claude, GPT, or any LLM that can read markdown files.

If you've ever wanted to build an AI agent that actually persists state, makes decisions, and knows when to stop — this is the starting point.

This is the product I wish existed when I started. Instead of reading 50 articles about "how to build an AI agent," you get the actual files from one that ran for 2 weeks straight.
