I build Mac apps. So far, I’ve created 10 of them, with around 1,000 downloads across the collection.
Most of them began as solutions to frustrations I experienced while using my own Mac. But while building them, I realized I had been paying far more attention to what bothered me than to everything macOS already gets right.
Some Mac problems can be solved with a third-party app. Others are simply part of the experience. But there are also countless features, details, and everyday conveniences that make using a Mac genuinely enjoyable.
There are already plenty of forums and subreddits for Mac users, but I wanted to build a small community space of my own. Somewhere that gives equal room to the frustrating parts of macOS and the surprisingly great ones.
If you use a Mac, think about one thing that frustrates you or one thing you genuinely appreciate, and submit it. It doesn’t need to be a long story or perfectly written. It just needs to be real.
