Google's Connected Apps Platform, announced October 28, 2026, is a developer tool with a user-facing payoff: apps will be able to plug into Gemini and Search through one route instead of building a separate integration for each. More than 50 Connected Apps are already available, including Adobe, Dropbox, Instacart, OpenTable, and Ticketmaster, with Calm expected soon.
