Help Shape Trace Dev — Share Your Experience and Feedback

Hello dev.to community,

I’ve just launched a new platform called Trace Dev (https://trace-dev.vercel.app/
), deployed on Vercel and built for developers, makers, and side-project builders who care about real workflows, usability, and iterative feedback.
DEV Community

This is an early-stage project, and I’m publishing it here to collect real user experiences, feedback, and insights from people who actually interact with it.

What to Explore

Please take a few minutes to interact with the platform. Try out:

Navigation, routing, menus, and layouts

Any form inputs or submission flows

Publishing/saving features (if available)

Login or authentication flows (if present)

Responsiveness on desktop and mobile

Anything interactive (buttons, links, modals, popups, etc.)

What I’m Interested In

As you explore Trace Dev, I’d love to get your thoughts on:

  1. Bugs and Technical Issues What didn’t work?

Broken links

Errors in the UI

Behaviors that fail or behave unexpectedly

Anything that seems inconsistent or brittle

  1. Usability and Experience What felt confusing or unclear?

Labels or instructions that could be better

Navigation that doesn’t make sense

Workflows that are hard to follow

  1. Missing Features or Improvements What would you expect to be here that isn’t yet?

Nice-to-have tools or capabilities

Enhancements to make workflows smoother

  1. Edge Cases or Odd Behavior Did something work only sometimes?

Inputs that should be validated but aren’t

Unexpected behavior under specific conditions

Things that work on desktop but break on mobile (or vice versa)

How to Report Your Feedback

You can share feedback in this post’s comments, ideally with:

Steps to reproduce

What happened vs. what you expected

Browser/device you used

Screenshots or console logs (if relevant)

Your real-world feedback will help prioritize fixes and refine UX in future releases.

Thanks

Thank you for taking the time to explore Trace Dev and help improve it. I’m committed to iterating based on early user insights — and I appreciate your contribution to that process.

Let’s build something great together.
