It comes without warning.
I got laid off during the COVID-19 crisis.
Last April 2020, after our Daily Standup Meeting my Boss told us that he will close the company because of this pandemic crisis.
Losing employment is one of life’s most stressful experiences. Aside from the obvious financial anguish, the stress of losing a job can also take a heavy toll on your mood, overall mental, and emotional health.
After a week when I got laid off and move on already, I decided to do something that helps me improve my current skills as a developer.
I took some React courses in Udemy because I wanted to improve my knowledge and skills in React. Right now, I try to make an eCommerce website integrated with firebase for user authentication and stripe for payments also I want to try React Router, Redux, Redux-Saga, Hooks, Context API, GraphQL, Testing and the most important is the Performance on how to scale the application.
I already updated my resume and now I'm ready to hunt a job again as a Software Developer.
I'm open to any advice and job offer. Looking forward to reading your responses! Comment below.
