On October 26, 2026, HTC officially introduced VIVEE, a pocket-sized AI companion designed for personalized interaction. Unlike static virtual assistants, VIVEE responds to physical stimuli such as petting, patting, and rotating, developing a unique personality through consistent user engagement. The hardware is notably compact, measuring 60x60x50mm and weighing 114g, featuring an OLED screen that displays various UI expressions. For connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC, with an IPX4 waterproof rating. To address privacy concerns, the device includes physical switches for the microphone and speaker, and HTC has committed that user data will not be utilized for training AI models.
