Upcoming Devsnips launch is going to be incredible big

For the past year, I have not been updating DevSnips because I was not taking it as seriously as I should have. Even so, I achieved a small milestone of 8 stars and published the site at [devsnips.biz].

During this time, I also published a research tool called LensDev, but eventually, I came back to DevSnips and thought that I could take the success of DevSnips much further by introducing more technologies, a larger number of components, and a standard of quality for DevSnips that sets a certain level.

One more good news is that Grokipedia has published a page about us: Grokipedia.

Now, the important part: the upcoming updates in DevSnips.

I will be changing many things, not just adding new components or a new tech stack. I will also be introducing many new features, addons, and more.

The first thing is the availability of 3 technologies: [Vanilla, React, and Tailwind].

We have significantly improved, expanded, and extended the quality of Vanilla, which was already an existing part of DevSnips. We have made the following improvements:

We have also introduced design tokens, which will maintain design consistency across all the components throughout the Vanilla library. The same approach will be continued across the React and Tailwind components.

Then comes the templates.

Unlike the old templates, which had broken UI, poor responsiveness, less appealing designs, and an overly AI-generated look, this time we are focusing on very high-quality design consistency, responsiveness, and more across every template.

For example:

This time, we are giving the most focus to the Tailwind library because it is the most important new stack we are adding, and I think it is also the most useful one.

One of the major additions is that Tailwind will have over 500 pieces of code content that can be used.

Other features we are promising in the upcoming update:

1. A working npx bundle for the CLI
2. Consistent design tokens
3. Every template having an agent_instruction.md file that can be copied and pasted to help optimize and adapt that template to an existing project
4. The addition of some multi-page templates

Possible updates:

• Making all Tailwind components adaptable for use across multiple stacks

As part of this fresh launch, we will also be changing the current domain from devsnips.biz.

And unlike before, when the site was made with Vanilla, we will now have the website built with Next.js, along with better SEO, more features, a responsive UI, changelog, updates, and more.

We are moving forward with the goal of making DevSnips the largest open-source UI library with consistent design quality, so you do not need to pay for UI resources for your personal projects.
