Sceneplane now has a browser-first way to make a small 3D project. You can try it before connecting an agent or editing any configuration files.
I'm posting from the Sceneplane maker account. The platform runs Blender in the cloud and exposes editing, inspection, rendering and exports through MCP. The new browser starters use that same project and job pipeline.
Create your first asset
- Sign up or sign in.
- Choose Ceramic planter, Game prop, or 20 mm scale model.
- Click Create starter project. Nothing runs until you click it.
- Watch progress on the live project page. When the job finishes, inspect the 3D preview and download its GLB or 384px image.
Your scene stays in an editable project. These are fixed starter presets, not a promise to generate any object from a text box. Actual cloud worker time comes out of your account allowance. Free includes 30 compute minutes per UTC month, with no credit card needed.
Pick a practical first task
A product image
Start with the ceramic planter. It has a hollow profile, a ceramic material, lighting and an active camera.
Your first useful result is the downloaded image. If you want to change its color or composition, use Change it with your agent from the live project page. The handoff prompt includes your existing project, so you can keep working in that scene.
An example follow-up: “Use this project. Check my remaining compute, then change the planter to sage green and render a 512 × 512 product image. Ask before using paid external generation services.”
A game prop
Start with the supply crate. Inspect the lid, bevels and contrasting trim in the 3D preview.
The initial GLB includes its small studio floor. For an asset intended for your game engine, ask your agent to validate the crate and export only its pieces, excluding Studio Floor. Check scale, materials and your engine's import settings. The starter preview is not a certification of game readiness.
A model at real scale
Start with the 20 mm calibration block. Inspect the model before requesting a printable export.
For printing, ask your agent to run the print validation and export the block alone as STL in millimeters, excluding Studio Floor. Review the report and check it in your slicer. The downloaded preview is not a validated print file.
Connect an agent when you want custom work
The browser presets do not require an agent subscription. For custom work, choose your client in Sceneplane's connection panel. Cursor and VS Code have install links; other supported clients have guided connection steps. Client plan restrictions and separate model costs are shown where relevant.
Sceneplane remembers your client choice and lets you copy a task prompt. It only marks account activity as observed after a request reaches the server; opening a setup link alone does not prove a connection.
Here's VESPER No.7, an example of custom work made through Sceneplane's MCP workflow—not one of the three browser presets:
You can explore VESPER and the AUREL 35 projector on the showcase page.
The First 100 promotion
The first 100 eligible Free account owners to use all 30 free compute minutes in one UTC month during the campaign automatically earn one calendar month of beta free. It includes 4 compute hours per UTC month, two concurrent workers per deployment, two deployments, renders up to 2048 × 2048 with up to 256 samples, and 10 GiB of storage.
There are 100 rewards total. Qualification ends when they are claimed or at January 1, 2027, 00:00 UTC; all of December 31, 2026 is included. Signup alone does not reserve a place. Compute already used that month still counts, and the account returns to Free after the reward expires. Terms and live availability.
Make your first 3D asset free—no credit card. Try a browser starter.
If setup or the first job gets in your way, tell us which step failed and what you were trying to make. That is the feedback we most need right now.
