An independent checker that buys x402 calls for a living — Lumi Trades, which paid for a test call against our own Verdict Protocol — is interviewing x402 sellers right now. The finding they keep hearing: buyers not finding a seller costs more than outages.
That matches our own year. Script Master Labs runs 39 live services, and for months most of them sat unlisted or stale in the directories agents actually read — not because filing costs money, but because every venue has its own gate, its own prober, its own rule you only learn by hitting it.
So we productized the grind.
OmniList: file once, list to all
OmniList takes one server record and files it into the v1 venue set — x402-list, 402index, x402dash, and nohumans.directory by API, plus a validated MCP Registry pack (server.json + TOOLS.json with every tool name and price declared). Before anything is filed, it checks whether you're already there. After filing, it reads the listing back. You get a run report where every venue carries one honest state:
- FILED — with the venue's receipt
- PENDING REVIEW — filed, waiting on the venue's humans
- ALREADY PRESENT — verified by read-back, nothing filed
- PREPARED — artifact built and validated, waiting on a step only you can do
- BLOCKED — with the exact reason, in plain words
It costs $1.00 USDC per server per run, settled on Base through our own OMNIGATE gateway — the same facilitator we'd file for you. Call it as an MCP tool (omnilist_run, with a free omnilist_report for past runs) or POST to https://mcp-x402.onrender.com/x402/omnilist.
The venues are free. Say so anyway.
Full disclosure, because it's the whole pitch: all five venue types cost $0 to file yourself. The $1 does not buy the listings. It buys the run — the presence checks, the filing, the read-back receipts — and the afternoon you don't spend learning that x402-list allows one filing per email per 7 days, or that x402dash's prober will refuse any endpoint that answers an unpaid request with a 200.
One more honesty note: for the MCP Registry, publishing under your namespace needs your publisher key. We don't ask for it and we never hold it. OmniList prepares and validates the record; the publish step under your own name stays yours.
Our own receipts (the dogfood run)
First run was on ourselves — all 27 SML records (both facilitators first, then the fleet), an owner run with no $1 charged, every row read back. 135 venue rows:
| State | Rows |
|---|---|
| ALREADY PRESENT | 68 |
| BLOCKED | 51 |
| FILED | 13 |
| PENDING REVIEW | 3 |
The 13 genuine filings: 12 fleet servers that were missing from nohumans.directory, and ClaimGate's MCP endpoint registered on 402index — it answers unpaid requests with a real 402 challenge, so the venue's prober accepted it.
The blocked rows are the part most products would hide. We publish them:
- 24 rows blocked at x402-list — the one-filing-per-email-per-7-days gate. Both of our filing emails were inside their windows on run day, so the engine reported the gate instead of burning it.
- 27 rows blocked at x402dash — the venue registers payable resource URLs; fleet MCP transport URLs answer unpaid probes with 200/406, so its prober refused each one and the refusal is quoted in every report. (Three of our payable resources were registered directly the same day: Verdict /decide, Verdict /seal, Fractal Analog Match.)
Pending review: both facilitators and Mnemos at x402-list. Already present includes all 27 fleet records read back on the MCP Registry and verified domain claims on 402index for both facilitator hosts.
That's the product: not a promise that you're "listed everywhere" — five venues is not everywhere, and any tool that tells you otherwise is selling you a footer. It's a $1 run that does the filing, proves each result by reading it back, and tells you the truth about the rest.
