Stripe hosts the checkout page itself. You pay $2.00 USD one time. There are no recurring charges at all. No crypto wallet is created or linked.

Keep your credit token

Stripe verifies your payment first. Then you receive a reusable credit token. The token ties to your paid Checkout session. Send it in the X-SML-READER-CARD header. Each accepted read costs exactly one credit.

Only success spends a credit

A valid Markdown response spends one credit. Failed reads spend no credits at all. Blocked sources spend no credits either. Private or oversized pages are refused without charge.

What a real job showed

ScriptMasterLabs measured eight public documentation pages on October 28, 2026. Returned Markdown was 95.3 percent smaller than raw HTML. The reads returned 129,881 characters of Markdown. The same pages carried 2,773,841 bytes of HTML. Two attempted pages were refused with no charge.

Same reader, two ways to pay

Most x402 readers require a funded wallet first. This card pack removes that step entirely. Both payment paths use the same reader. Agents pay 0.001 USDC per accepted read.
