Five Questions I’ll Ask About AI Agents at World AI Summit 2026

When I read about an AI agent deployment, I want enough detail to understand the engineering decisions.
World AI Summit 2026 runs on October 14–15 in Bengaluru. Its announced themes include enterprise deployment, agents, robotics, and computing infrastructure. I’m using the event to look for practical lessons for developers. mygreatlearning.com

Here are five questions I’ll use when reviewing deployment examples.

  • What is the smallest useful task?
“Automate customer support” leaves too much undefined. “Retrieve the relevant policy and prepare a response for review” gives the team a specific behavior to evaluate.

  • Which actions require approval?
Reading a record and changing a record deserve separate permission decisions. I’ll look for explanations of where teams place approval steps.

  • How does the system handle missing information?
A useful example should explain whether the agent asks a question, stops, or sends the task to a person.

  • What does the evaluation include?
I want to hear about ambiguous requests, unavailable tools, conflicting records, and unsuccessful runs alongside successful examples.

  • What happens after release?
Logs, latency, cost per completed task, and correction rates would help explain whether the workflow performs consistently.
These are my evaluation questions, rather than claims about what speakers will demonstrate.

The summit’s announced participants include technology and data leaders from organizations such as HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, and Reliance Retail. I’ll follow the discussions for implementation details developers can use. 14-15 October 2026, Bengaluru
