👋🏾 Hello developers — especially my fellow African devs 🇹🇿🇰🇪🇺🇬🇷🇼🌍
GitHub profile
I want to be honest about where I am in my programming journey.
I'm a young developer from Tanzania 🇹🇿 who is genuinely interested in programming, web development, backend, Python, Git, AI and building things.
I didn't learn these things through a traditional computer science program.
Most of what I know so far has come from AI tools, YouTube, documentation, websites, GitHub, and a lot of trial and error while building my own projects. 💻
So yes — I'm still a beginner.
I still get stuck on things that experienced developers might consider simple. Sometimes I break my code, spend hours trying to understand why, fix it, and then discover that the problem was one tiny line. 😂
But I'm genuinely enjoying the journey.
There's just one problem:
GitHub can feel really lonely when you're learning by yourself.
That's why I'm looking to connect with other developers — especially young programmers from Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and across Africa. 🌍
I'm not looking for followers.
I'd simply like to meet people who are also learning, building, experimenting and trying to get better at technology.
We can:
🤝🏾 Share what we're learning
💻 Show each other our projects
🧠 Ask questions
🔍 Review each other's code
🚀 Try small collaborations
😂 And occasionally complain about bugs together
If you're a beginner, student, programmer, developer, builder or simply someone passionate about technology:
Let's connect.
I'm still learning, but I'm serious about becoming better.
And maybe somewhere along the way, we can turn this lonely GitHub journey into a small network of friends who build together. ❤️🌍
If you're interested, just say hi and tell me what you're currently learning or building.
I'd genuinely love to know you
