How to Play Brick Breaker
Goal: Use the paddle to bounce a ball and break all bricks on the board. Clear every brick to win. Lose all lives and it's game over.
Controls:

Rules
- Lives: You start with 3 lives. If the ball falls below the paddle, you lose one life. Lose all 3 and the game ends.
- Breaking bricks: The ball bounces off bricks on contact and destroys them. Each brick destroyed adds to your score.
- Ball angle: The angle the ball rebounds at depends on where it hits the paddle — hit it off the left edge to send it left, off the right edge to send it right. Use this to aim.
- Level progression: Clearing all bricks advances you to the next level with a fresh brick layout.
Tips
Keep the ball out of corners. A ball trapped in a corner bouncing back and forth on the top wall will clear the remaining bricks — but if it drops, it's hard to recover. Stay focused.
Use paddle edges intentionally. Center hits bounce the ball back roughly where it came from. Edge hits sharply redirect it. Use edge hits to target specific sections of the brick grid.
Clear bottom rows first. Bricks at the bottom are harder to reach after the upper bricks are gone. Clear a path downward early so the ball can reach isolated bottom bricks.
Don't chase — anticipate. Watch the ball's angle after every bounce to predict where it's heading. Move the paddle to where it will be, not where it is.
