Hey Dev Community! 👋
I’m Shivani, a 16-year-old developer from India, and I’ve spent the last few months obsessed with one question: Why is video editing still so manual?
Even with all the AI tools out there, we’re still stuck dragging clips on a timeline, manually cutting silences, and fighting with caption alignment. I wanted to see if I could build a workflow that feels more like a conversation than a chore.
The Project: Heavenclip
I’m building Heavenclip, a "Chat-to-Edit" AI video editor. Instead of a traditional timeline, the workflow is simple:
Upload your raw footage.
Answer a few prompts about what you need.
The AI handles the rest—silence removal, blurring, and reframing.
Why I’m here
I’m currently in the beta phase and looking for:
UI/UX Feedback: Is a conversational interface actually better than a timeline?
Feature Ideas: What "boring" editing task should I automate next?
Connections: I’d love to connect with other builders in the AI and media space.
I'd love for you to check it out at heavenclip.com and give me your most "brutal" feedback. I’m here to learn and improve!**
