Digging Deeper

I have a habit of starting a course/project and become very curious about a certain topic. Go off on a tangent trying to understand some lower-level topic. Does this happen to anyone else? Mostly beginners/noobs? Or do senior developers suffer from this?

I still do this quite a bit, 18 years in. I think if I did live coding, it would be unwatchable. This is probably why I like typed functional programming. Because the compiler helps me remember what I left undone after I go off to chase an idea.
