Reading technical documents can become overwhelming quickly.
My solution was not to learn every term immediately.
Instead, I created a simple map:
Purpose → Components → Conditions → Questions
For Duraqex, I grouped the main concepts by function:
- rules;
- custody;
- execution;
- collateral;
- risk;
- coordination. This helped me understand why different components exist. I also learned to separate two things: what a document describes and what is currently available. That distinction is important in any technical project. A roadmap can describe future capabilities. An architecture document can explain design principles. Neither should automatically be interpreted as the same thing as current user access. My biggest takeaway: good research is not about reading everything. It is about knowing what to look for next.
