I submitted a PR to Forem to add article pinning for organizations, and it has now been merged!
Organizations can now pin up to 5 posts, keeping their most important articles visible above the regular feed. This makes it easier to highlight announcements, useful resources, and content they want visitors to see first.
How to pin a post as an organization admin:
- Go to your dashboard.
- Find post you want to pin
- Click Manage.
- Click the Pin to Organization button.
That’s it! Your post will be pinned to your organization’s page.

Proof that opening an upstream PR is still orders of magnitude faster than dying in a product backlog triage queue.
Sometimes it's just better to take the initiative and build what you want to see.
Five pinned posts is a good ceiling. Any more and the org page would just be a second feed.
Five is enough to keep the important stuff visible without overwhelming the page.
