This is a submission for the Runner H "AI Agent Prompting" Challenge
What I Built
In Indonesia, millions of talented fresh graduates face a daunting job market each year, battling not only intense competition but also a complex web of unwritten professional rules and cultural nuances. The manual, soul crushing process of sifting through hundreds of job postings leads to burnout before their careers even begin.
To tackle this significant socio economic challenge, I built a comprehensive, two part AI agent workflow using Runner H. This isn't just a single automation; it's a strategic system designed to act as a personal career co pilot.
- The Cultural Analyst Agent: This first agent addresses the "knowledge gap." It autonomously researches and synthesizes a detailed guide on the Indonesian professional landscape—from email etiquette to salary negotiation norms—and delivers it as a clean Google Doc.
- The Automated Job Hunter Agent: The second agent tackles the "manual grind." It works tirelessly every day, scanning multiple job portals, intelligently filtering for true entry level positions, and systematically logging every relevant opportunity into a structured Google Sheet, complete with a daily email summary.
This workflow transforms a chaotic, anxiety inducing process into a manageable, data driven project, giving new graduates the confidence and the tools they need to succeed.

How I Used Runner H
My approach leverages Runner H's ability to operate as two specialized, autonomous agents working in tandem. The entire system is built without a single line of code, relying on clear, logical, and replicable prompts. This demonstrates the true power of delegating complex, multi step tasks to AI.
Replication Steps
To ensure my project is easy to test and replicate, follow these simple steps:
- Sign up or log in to Runner H.
- Create a new run for the "Cultural Analyst Agent" and paste the first prompt below.
- Create another new run for the "Automated Job Hunter Agent" and paste the second prompt.
- Execute the runs. The agents will handle the rest, including creating the necessary Google Suite files.
Prompt 1: The Cultural Analyst Agent
This prompt instructs the AI to research the Indonesian work culture and compile a guide in Google Docs.
You are to act as a market and cultural analyst. Your mission is to conduct a comprehensive research study to create a guide for me, [Your Name]. This guide will explain the realities of the Indonesian professional environment, including language etiquette, cultural norms, and the challenges of the current job market.
Research & Analysis Steps:
Professional Language & Communication:
Analyze the use of Bahasa Indonesia in a professional context (emails, meetings).
Explain the nuances between formal communication (to superiors, clients) and informal communication (to peers).
Provide key phrases for starting an email, asking for assistance, and politely declining a request.
Indonesian Work Culture & Etiquette:
Hierarchy: Explain the importance of hierarchy and respect for seniors/superiors (e.g., the use of "Bapak/Ibu").
Communication Style: Detail the tendency towards indirect communication and the cultural concepts of "sungkan" (reluctance/hesitance) and "basa-basi" (small talk).
Concept of Time: Explain the concept of "jam karet" (rubber time) and how to navigate it professionally.
Teamwork: Describe the culture of "gotong royong" (mutual cooperation) in the workplace.
Analysis of Job Search Challenges for Fresh Graduates:
Supply vs. Demand: Find data/articles on the ratio of university graduates to available relevant jobs.
The Experience Paradox: Analyze why many "entry-level" positions still require 1-2 years of experience.
The Power of Networking: Research the significance of personal networks and referrals (the "orang dalam" concept) in the recruitment process.
Required Output:
Create a new Google Docs document titled: "A Strategic Guide to the Indonesian Workforce for [Your Name]".
Compile all your research findings into this document with clear, structured formatting (use headings and bullet points).
Once complete, share the Google Docs document with editing permissions to [Your Email] and send a notification email.
Prompt 2: The Automated Job Hunter Agent
This prompt instructs the AI to perform a daily job search and log the findings in a Google Sheet.
You are my personal AI job search assistant. Your primary mission is to proactively and continuously find relevant job opportunities in Indonesia for me, [Your Name], a fresh graduate in Information Technology focusing on Networking, Server Management, and Network Engineering. You will log all findings in a Google Sheets document.
Operational Steps:
Step 1: File Setup (Run once)
Create a new Google Sheets document named: Job Search Log - [Your Name].
In the first sheet, create the following headers in the first row (A1, B1, C1, etc.): Date Found, Position, Company, Location, Source, Application URL, Key Qualifications, Notes
Share this Google Sheets document with editing permissions with [Your Email].
Step 2: Daily Search Process (Run every day, Mon-Fri)
Scan Key Platforms: Every day, visit the following job search websites: LinkedIn Jobs, Jobstreet, Glints, Kalibrr, Tech in Asia Jobs.
Use Smart Keywords: Perform searches using a combination of the following keywords: "fresh graduate" network engineer, "entry level" network administrator, "junior" IT infrastructure, "junior" system administrator, "IT support" fresh graduate, "network operations center" junior, "internship" computer network.
Location Filter: Prioritize searches in the following location(s): [Enter your desired location(s) here, e.g., Jakarta, or All Indonesia].
Smart Analysis: Prioritize jobs explicitly for "fresh graduates." However, do not discard jobs requiring "1-2 years experience." Analyze their descriptions. If the core skills match my profile, include them and make a note in the Notes column. Ignore all senior-level positions.
Step 3: Data Logging
For each relevant job found, add a new row to the Job Search Log - [Your Name] Google Sheet, filling in each cell under the correct header.
Avoid Duplicates: Before adding a job, check the sheet to ensure the exact same position at the same company has not already been logged.
Step 4: Daily Reporting
Every day at 5:00 PM WIB (GMT+7), send an email to [Your Email].
Subject: Job Search Update - [Current Date]
Body: Hello Stev, Today I found [Number] new job opportunities. They have been added to your Google Sheet. You can view the full log here: [Insert the shareable link to the Google Sheet you created]
