INTRODUCTION TO SUPER PROTOCOL

Super Protocol is a confidential Web3 cloud and Marketplace. Super exists both on-chain, for smart contract orchestration, and off-chain, where actual computing occurs.

The key ingredient in Super is a hardware technology called confidential computing, which is a special kind of CPU or GPU. Because data must be decrypted during execution, it becomes vulnerable to malicious third parties. Confidential computing creates Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), which allow to securely isolate code and data during processing. This not only ensures enhanced privacy but also safeguards against various threats, such as hackers and any unauthorized third parties.

Another key aspect of Super is its non-custodial nature, placing complete control in the hands of its users. This approach significantly differs from traditional cloud services where the service provider typically has control over user data and accounts. The platform's reliance on smart contracts automates operations, eliminating the need for human intervention, which enhances transparency and trust while reducing operational costs. Additionally, the open-market structure within Super enables competitive pricing as it allows providers to offer their unused confidential computing resources and enables direct P2P transactions between users and providers of solutions and data.

The core Super Protocol team has nearly 10 years of experience in confidential computing and decentralization. Our key partners include Inteland NVIDIA.

Super’s serverless architecture is based on both blockchain and TEE technologies. Super is chain-agnostic with initial compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), known for its largest smart-contract-supported blockchain ecosystem. As a TEE-agnostic protocol, Super envisions empowering users with the ability to select specific TEE implementations for their individual computing nodes. This flexibility aligns Super with the growing market need for diverse and secure computing solutions.

From the TEE-computing provider perspective, Super is uniquely positioned to onboard anyone meeting HW requirements, from large CSP to an individual machine owner. Our key next-wave CSP partners include OVHcloud (Global and US) and Gcore, entailing a long-lasting pipeline for further gradual onboarding.
