I understand how tough the job market is right now, especially with so many AI-based rejections.
AI is making developers more productive than ever.
Tasks that once took hours can now be completed in minutes, which is exciting, but it also raises a concern: if one developer can accomplish the work of several, will companies simply hire fewer engineers?
I don't believe software engineers will disappear, but I do think the role is changing rapidly.
The demand for developers who can design systems, solve complex problems, and effectively leverage AI will likely continue to grow, while routine coding tasks become increasingly automated.
The real challenge isn't competing with AI, it's adapting alongside it.
