Why I Built My Own New Tab Extension?
I wanted something simple: a clean view of my bookmarks in new tab page, organized the way I like them.
I tried a lot of existing extensions. Some were beautiful but too cluttered with "features" (widgets, news feeds, ads). Others were simple but looked like they hadn't been updated since 2010.
None of them gave me the right balance of a modern look with zero distractions. So, I decided to build my own.
