I just wrote my first post here and you can check it out. It's about how I got back into programming after series of misdirection in life.
I'm more of software developer working closely with Javascript mostly. I would always try new things and even I developed iOS and Android app for some clients in the past. Can you imagine signing up to work on iOS app then the Android dev just quit the team and you have to take over?! That happened to me... I just dived into documentation and did my best. It's always easy to switch over to other language if you already have the knowledge of programming logics and patterns.

At school, I'm in set 1 for all subjects, but I would be in set 8 for art if there were sets for art! (Sets are ability-based school classes for each individual subject, with set 1 at the top.)
My friends and family often consult me for help on schoolwork and tech, but that doesn't mean I always have an answer to them ; I'm set 1 everything but I'm not omniscient!

At school, I'm set 1 for every subject, but I would be set 8 for art if there were sets for art! (Sets are ability-based classes for each individual subject, with set 1 at the top.)
My friends and family often consult me for help on schoolwork and tech, but that isn't to say I always have an answer; I may be set 1 everything, but I'm not omniscient!
I mainly code in Python. I use Visual Studio Code and Replit. Currently, I'm working on a discord bot which has a calculator and a maths quiz with infinite levels, but it won't be online most of the time, while I save up for a Raspberry Pi 4.
What I really need to improve on myself is public social skills, e.g. stop relying on my friends to speak on my behalf to a teacher.

I am currently a QA tester for a mobile game's studio in the UK. I am more and more impressed with the logic that goes into these games both on Frontend and Backend.
My goal is to hopefully land a Junior Backend Engineer role sometime next year. I have started learning Python and I want for now to understand the fundamentals very very well before I try to create a bunch of scripts for my portofolio.
I've joined this community I head about from YouTube and I hope to stay motivated and look of tips on this platform.
I would say I have an above avarage logical thinking but I suck at Maths because I graduated in Social Sciences and wasn't interested at that time. I don't think this will make it impossible for me to code, but if any of you comes from a non-Math background and landed a coding job, please let me know how difficult (or not) this was for you.
