During the development of my website, I thought: "why not develop something standard that I can use as a basis for other projects and make it open source?"

As the name implies, its greatest strength is the simplicity of an extremely minimal design πŸ‘€

It's not a bug, it's a feature!

Okay, it's a very minimal template, but it has some great built-in features to make the most of it:

  • πŸ”Ž SEO friendly: designed to be 100% SEO friendly
  • πŸ“± 100% responsive: usable on all devices - desktop, tablet and smartphone - thanks to the power of Bulma CSS
  • πŸ“ Markdown support for blog post: is a template designed to support a possible blog
  • πŸŒ— Light/dark mode toggle: support for dark mode cannot be missing
  • 🧠 Full text search integrate with Orama: a search system is integrated with the template using the Orama project

If you want, contribute!

Astro Minimal is an Open Source project and for this reason it is possible to use it, redistribute it, report bugs, propose improvements or contribute by opening PR.

I just took a look at the demo page and the HTML is all messed up:

crop of some HTML source showing highlighted nesting errors

It opens a new html tag and injects a second header immediately after body.

It renders ok, but something is definitely up with the template :)

Hey @dvalin99, love the approach you've taken with your open source project. The Astro+Bulma combo is awesome. I use it for my own site logarithmicspirals.com. I'd be interested to hear if you have any thoughts on it πŸ€”.

Keep up the good work, definitely inpsiring πŸ‘.
