Install Go on Raspberry Pi OS (Shortest Tutorial)

This may be the shortest tutorial on how to install Go on Raspberry Pi OS.

# Connect to your Raspberry Pi terminal using Putty / UART / connecting a monitor & keyboard into your Pi
cd ~/

# If you are on different architecture of linux, see download page at https://golang.org/dl/
wget https://golang.org/dl/go1.15.3.linux-armv6l.tar.gz

sudo tar -C /usr/local -xzf go*

echo 'export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/go/bin' >> .bashrc
# Or you can use
# sudo nano .bashrc
# To add the line "export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/go/bin" at the bottom of the file

source ~/.bashrc
go version
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode
