Hey DEV!
I'm launching Trencada on here — https://trencada.com — a collection of 380+ free online tools for everyday tasks: PDF tools (merge, compress, convert), image tools (compress, resize, convert HEIC/WebP), text tools, calculators, converters, QR generators, and a lot more.
The whole idea: no signup, no installation. You open the page, use the tool, done. Most tools process everything locally in your browser.
A few things that might interest fellow devs:
- It's built on WordPress with each tool as a self-contained HTML/CSS/JS blob — a fun constraint to work within.
- Client-side processing for most tools keeps things fast and private.
- New tools ship regularly based on what people actually search for.
If you have a minute, I'd love feedback: what's missing, what's clunky, what tool would you want next? Always happy to hear what real users need.
Thanks for reading!

380 no-signup utilities is a brutal surface area to keep consistent — one shared template change can silently slow every tool page.
Staff SDET here; I lean on automated hygiene passes so eng/QA can focus on tool logic instead of re-checking headers and asset weight by hand.
On trencada.com the automated preview landed at 89/100 (Grade B). Top unlocked finding: high external resource count — on the pages opened, most carried 53 combined scripts/styles/images, which is a real mobile latency tax even when each widget works in isolation.
7 other issues showed up in the same sample (count only — not enumerating the locked rows).
We only audited 10 of ~138 discovered URLs, so the footprint in your post is much larger than this sample — patterns that repeat on scanned pages might appear elsewhere; that's an estimate, not a promise.
Are you tracking per-tool performance budgets yet, or mostly spot-checking the flagship tools?
