The AI answers when you are not around
The widget is backed by an assistant that knows your site. When a visitor asks a question and no operator is online, the AI replies on its own, using your pages and a starter prompt you control, and it hands off to a human if the visitor asks for one. You can turn AI on or off per site, or set it to only step in after an operator has not replied within a few seconds.
So your site is genuinely covered at 2am, not just collecting unanswered messages.
Answer from a real desktop app, not a browser tab
Here is where 247chat is different from the usual chat widget: it ships a native desktop Operator Console. Every conversation across every one of your sites lands in one window. You see the site, the visitor, and the last message, click in, and reply.
