Paying for AI subscriptions from Pakistan: what actually works

Anyone in Pakistan who has tried to subscribe to an AI tool knows the problem. The checkout asks for an international card, the card is declined, and the tool you wanted stays out of reach. This is the practical way around it.

Why it fails

Many AI services bill in dollars to cards issued abroad. Local cards often get blocked, and virtual cards come with their own fees and limits. Add price changes and plan differences and it is easy to overpay or give up.

Options, in plain terms

An international card or a virtual card. Works when it works, but fees and declines are common.

A reseller store that takes local payment. You pay in rupees by a method you already use, and the store handles the subscription. The trade-off is that you are trusting the store, so check what it actually delivers and how it handles problems.

What to check before you buy

  1. What exactly do you receive? An account, a seat, or a code. Ask before paying.
  2. How long does delivery take, and who do you contact if it breaks?
  3. Is the plan the one you need? Individual and team plans differ.
  4. Which payment methods are accepted? Look for ones you use every day.

Where I fit

I run AI Store PK, which lists premium AI and digital services and accepts JazzCash, Easypaisa and bank transfer. You top up once and order from your own panel. I am the owner, so read this as one option and compare it against others. Whatever you pick, start with one small order and see how delivery and support behave.
