Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how AI has morphed the way I work with computers and technology. It’s kinda like having a new sidekick who’s got my back, allowing me to dive into bigger ideas and system designs without getting bogged down by language syntax.
Debugging, for instance, has become less of a headache. AI helps in catching those small syntactic errors like a missing semicolon, but it goes a step further by spotting logical mistakes and offering troubleshooting advice. It’s definitely shaved hours off my debugging time, making the development process smoother and way more enjoyable.
Over the last three weeks, I found some cool ways to optimize my workflow with AI. One area where it’s been a game-changer is design. I’m a coder, not a designer, so figuring out the right style and colors was always a bit of a struggle. Now, AI helps me with styling, color picking, and even learning CSS. It’s like having a design-savvy friend who’s there whenever I need advice.
I’ve also tapped into AI for research and brainstorming. It’s amazing how it can help you think outside the box and come up with creative solutions. Plus, it’s been a fantastic tool for interview prep. I set it up to act like an interviewer, throwing coding questions my way without giving away the answers. It’s a great way to stay on my toes and prep for real interviews.
I also dabbled in using AI for generating different images to visualize designs. It’s a neat way to get a fresh perspective and refine the aesthetic aspect of my projects.
In a nutshell, harnessing the power of AI has seriously upped my game as a developer. With the right knowledge, it’s amazing how much you can boost your development experience. So, if you haven’t yet, I’d say it’s high time to invite AI into your coding toolkit!
I will share my favourite props in my next post!
