So update, they think 'I'm a good fit', noted my manual review went poorly. So they gave me 2 tasks to do (compensated), so now comes the real-world test of can I do the job, yes or no.
Looking forward to the challenge and it's fun tasks too! Abstract filesystems and porting pgrust, both things I'm pretty familiar with, so shouldnt be too tough.
