Enlarged Uterus

An enlarged uterus can occur for several reasons, with uterine fibroids being one of the most common causes. Fibroids are noncancerous growths that develop in or around the uterus and may cause it to become larger than normal. An enlarged uterus can lead to symptoms such as heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pressure, abdominal bloating, lower back pain, frequent urination, constipation, and discomfort during daily activities.
