Hey there! Have fun! Portfolio sites are some of the most fun. I always use them to work with new tech i don't know. Hence why mine is the only site I ever built with Jekyll haha

Dude, love the design with the yellow and blue on your site!
Thanks!
Hey! Building a personal site is so much fun and of course really useful for potential employers. Also, like people are saying it's the perfect opportunity to try out fancy new tech stacks.
Here is mine, it's not really a portfolio. I tried to make a blog but only wrote one post 😅

It's a pretty standard Gatsby site, but at the time I built it Gatsby was super new still. If I were to do a new one now, I might choose something like Svelte, the concept sounds so interesting to me, or I would use web components (LitElement + TypeScript) because I use those at my current job and they're pretty cool too.
Hey, mine is pretty minimal since I had more complex and didn't really like it, this time I decided to just put bare minimum.
It's actually create-react-app default template I just replaced react logo with mine and changed a bit of text. Site is deployed on netlify which makes life easier, after pushing to git repo it automatically deploys new version from develop.

Awesome! Good luck with your site!
Here's mine, built with Gatsby: jarodpeachey.netlify.com
That slanted slide out nav menu is freaking sweet 👌🏻
Thanks man! Took the most time, too 😅
Glad you like it!
Can't take any credit for mine really. It was pretty much autogenerated completely using Stackbit 😅
The cartoon drawings are mine though.
