As developers and job seekers, we frequently share links to our LinkedIn profiles, GitHub repositories, portfolios, resumes, and coding profiles.
Whether we're applying for internships, searching for jobs, networking with other developers, or showcasing our projects, these links are an important part of our professional identity.
However, finding and copying the right link whenever we need it can become repetitive.
I wanted to make this process simpler, so I built ProfiVault – Fast Profile Link Copier, a Chrome extension designed to make managing professional profile links more convenient.
💡 The Idea Behind ProfiVault
The idea was straightforward: make important professional links easier to organize and access.
Instead of repeatedly searching for a profile URL, users can keep their important links organized and copy them whenever needed.
ProfiVault is designed for:
- 🎓 Students preparing for internships and placements
- 💻 Developers showcasing their GitHub repositories and portfolios
- 🚀 Job seekers sharing professional profiles with recruiters
- 🤝 Anyone who frequently shares multiple professional links
✨ What Can You Do With ProfiVault?
The extension focuses on making everyday tasks simpler.
1. Organize professional links
Keep important profile URLs together so they are easier to find when needed.
2. Copy links quickly
Access and copy saved profile links without repeatedly navigating to different websites.
3. Simplify job applications
Keep your career-related links ready when filling out applications, updating your resume, or contacting recruiters.
4. Make professional networking easier
Spend less time searching for links and more time connecting with people.
🚀 The Extension Is Live!
I'm happy to share that ProfiVault is now live and verified on the Chrome Web Store.

🛠️ Building and Improving
Building a small tool around a specific problem has been a valuable learning experience. It reminded me that useful software doesn't always need to be complicated; sometimes, solving a repetitive task well is enough to make a difference.
I also want to keep improving ProfiVault based on how people actually use it.
My next priority is to understand which features would make it more useful for students, developers, and job seekers.
💬 I'd Love Your Feedback
If you try ProfiVault, I'd appreciate your honest feedback.
- How do you currently manage your professional profile links?
- Would you find a dedicated tool for organizing and copying these links useful?
- What features would you like to see in a future version?
I'm sharing this project to learn from the developer community and make the extension better.
Thanks for reading! 🙌
