Stop Clicking, Start Shipping: A Minimalist Dashboard for Netlify

We are living in the golden age of "Vibe Coding."

With tools like Cursor, V0, and Replit, building apps has never been faster. You have an idea, you prompt it, and you deploy it. But once that app is live on Netlify, the "vibe" often comes to a screeching halt.

Suddenly, you are navigating complex menus, searching for build logs, and trying to decipher Linux-style terminal errors just to see if your latest update went live.

For PMs, Design Engineers, and Vibe Coders, the standard Netlify dashboard—while powerful—can feel like flying a spaceship when all you really need is a bicycle.

Enter Netlify Companion.

I built Netlify Companion to be the "Lite Mode" for your deployments. It is a streamlined, AI-powered command center that keeps you in the flow.

Here is how it simplifies your shipping lifecycle:

1. Your Projects, At a Glance

No more digging through folders. The moment you open the companion, you get a card-view of your active sites. You can instantly see the deployment status (Ready/Building/Failed), the last update date, and a visual trend of your build durations.

2. Visual Rollbacks & Deploy Management

Need to revert a change? You shouldn't have to be a DevOps engineer to do it.

We visualized the deployment timeline. You can see your recent deploys as a clean sequence. Did a deploy break the site? Just click "Rollback" on a previous green circle. You can also trigger a new deploy to main with a single click.

3. AI-Powered Insights (The "Magic" Part)

This is where Vibe Coding meets Vibe Managing. Instead of reading raw logs, Netlify Companion uses AI to analyze your build.

It generates a Summary of what changed, provides Performance Insights, and offers actionable Suggestions. It reads the technical jargon and translates it into plain English so you know exactly what happened during that 32-second build.

4. SEO & Site Health in Real-Time

You deployed the app, but is it good?
You don't need to open a separate Lighthouse tab. The Site Health tab gives you an immediate traffic-light check on your SEO Basics (Title tags, Meta descriptions), Performance (Response time, Page size), and Security (SSL/HSTS).

5. Secure by Design (Client-Side Storage)

I know what you are thinking: "Am I giving you my Netlify keys?"

No.

Netlify Companion runs entirely in your browser. When you paste your Personal Access Token, it is stored locally on your machine (using Encrypted Storage, Session Storage, or Memory Only—your choice).

Your token is never sent to our servers. It goes directly from your browser to Netlify’s official API. We don't have a database, and we don't want your keys.

How is it secure

Ready to simplify your workflow?

If you are tired of navigating 100 menu items just to check a deploy, give Netlify Companion a try. It’s free, it’s secure, and it keeps the vibe alive.
