I’m currently working on an online event management & ticket booking web application using Next.js for the frontend and NestJS for the backend as part of my ongoing full-stack development journey.
The goal is to build a real-world platform where:
- Users can browse upcoming events in Sri lanka. -Organizers can create and manage events . -Users can book tickets online. -Users receive booking confirmations. -Organizers can track participants and ticket sales.
What I’m Learning from This Project
-Building a full-stack web app with Next.js + NestJS.
-Designing smooth user flows (browse → book → confirm).
-API design & integration.
-Handling authentication, roles (organizers vs users), and validations.
-Improving UI/UX and performance step by step.
Current Status
This project is still in progress, and I’m actively adding features, fixing bugs, and refining the user experience.
