Be part of Fission this Hacktoberfest

Fission is a fast serverless framework for Kubernetes with a focus on developer productivity and high performance. Fission operates on just the code: Docker and Kubernetes are abstracted away under normal operation from the user, though you can use both to extend Fission if you want to. You can learn more about the Fission project here

Think of like AWS Lambda - but you can run it on any Kubernetes cluster!

This Hacktoberfest is part of Fission and contribute. No contribution is small and here are some things to get started

We are doing an online meetup for those interested in
contributing to Fission & BotKube, check out
the details here:

https://bit.ly/33A7vps

Don't miss out on Swag while you contribute :) https://www.infracloud.io/blogs/infracloud-joins-hacktoberfest-2020/

1) The Contributing page is a good start & overview of basic information and how to get started: https://github.com/fission/fission/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md

2) If you are new to Kubernetes, there are many areas such as CLI experience or documentation that you can contribute to.

You should also Checkout the BotKube project by Prasad, more info here: https://dev.to/prasadg193/contribute-to-botkube-during-hactoberfest-33pk

3) Fission uses Keda-Connectors for integrating with external systems. These connectors are completely standalone and do not need deep knowledge of Fission or Kubernetes and are great for people new to Cloud Native. You can read more about contributing to Keda Connectors here: https://github.com/fission/keda-connectors/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md

4) Interact with team through Slack/Twitter & Github, all coordinates here: https://fission.io/community/
