Every price below was read from the vendor's own pricing page on 29 October 2026, not from a review site or a sales deck.
Why we checked
If you are buying AI visibility tracking, the useful question is not "which tool is best". It is "what does the entry tier actually include, and what does the next tier cost".
So we checked ten products and recorded four things for each: the cheapest self-serve plan, every tier above it, what the entry tier includes, and whether white-label reporting is available. Where a vendor publishes an annual price, we recorded both.
Two vendors could not be verified and are excluded from the table: loamly.ai (its pricing page sits behind a Vercel bot check that returned 403 to both curl and a headless browser) and searchscore.ai (the page renders client-side and serves no text without JavaScript). We would rather show nine verified rows than pad the list.
The table
| Product | Entry tier / month | All tiers | What the entry tier includes | White label |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Otterly | $29 | $29 / $189 / $489 (annual ≈15% off) | 15 prompts, 4 engines; +100 prompts for $99 | Not mentioned on pricing page |
| Rank Prompt | $49 | $49 / $89 / $149 / $299 (annual $39 / $71 / $119 / $239) | 150 credits, 10 brands; 10 credits = one report, 1 credit = one prompt across up to 3 engines | Yes — Agency tier from $149 ($119 annual), 500 brands, 1,000 credits |
| aiclicks | $59 | $59 / $189 / $499 | 30 prompts, 1 site, 4,650 answers / month | Not mentioned on pricing page |
| Peec | $95 | $95 / $245 / $495 | 50 prompts, 3 models, 1 project, daily refresh | Not mentioned on pricing page |
| Indexly | $99 | $99 / $299 / $499 | 2 sites, 100 prompts (indexing + visibility) | Mentioned on pricing page |
| Searchable | $125 | $125 / $400 / $999 | 100 prompts, 9,000 answers / month, 1 project | Yes — from $400; agency plan from $250 |
| Athena | $295 | $25 free credit / $295 | 3,600 credits | — |
| Profound | No self-serve price | Free trial, then Enterprise | 50 prompts/day for 7 days | — |
| WebTrek | Not a subscription | $29 / 5 blueprints, $49 / 10 | One-off credits, not monthly tracking | — |
| amivisibleonai | Free | No pricing page | A free checker | — |
Four things the table shows
1. A free checker is table stakes, not differentiation
amivisibleonai is a free checker with no paid tier at all. WebTrek uses a free checker to sell one-off blueprints. Rank Prompt's $49 entry tier is low enough to work as a trial.
"We have a free visibility check" is not a reason to be chosen in October 2026. It is the price of being considered at all.
2. The entry band is narrow, and it is crowded
The seven published entry prices run $29 to $295, and five of them sit between $49 and $125. That is not a gap in the market — it is a queue. Anyone building here should assume a buyer can find a $49–$95 option in an afternoon.
3. Vendors meter three different things, which makes list prices hard to compare
- Credits (Rank Prompt, Athena): one credit is one prompt run, or ten credits is one report.
- Prompts (Otterly, Peec, Indexly, Searchable): you buy a fixed list of questions to track.
- Answers (aiclicks, Searchable): you buy a volume of collected model responses.
A $95 plan tracking 50 prompts daily is not the same amount of work as a $99 plan tracking 100 prompts across two sites. Per-prompt price is the only number that travels between products:
| Product | Entry price | Prompts | Cost per prompt / month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rank Prompt | $49 | 150 credits (≈150 prompt runs) | ≈$0.33 |
| Otterly | $29 | 15 | $1.93 |
| aiclicks | $59 | 30 | $1.97 |
| Peec | $95 | 50 | $1.90 |
| Indexly | $99 | 100 | $0.99 |
| Searchable | $125 | 100 | $1.25 |
(Rank Prompt is credit-based and allows up to 3 engines per prompt run, so its per-prompt figure is not directly comparable. Treat the column as an order of magnitude, not a ranking.)
4. White label is the real price step
Only two products publish a white-label option: Rank Prompt from $149/month and Searchable from $400/month. If you are an agency reselling reports, that difference — 2.7× — is the decision, not the entry tier.
What this changed about our own product
We run VisibleDiagnostic, so this table is also a picture of our competition. Three things we took from it:
- We do not treat an AI visibility checker as an advantage. Three free answers is a sample, not a feature. The paid diagnostic is 30 answers with dated sources and a day-60 re-run.
- We price and describe in answers, not prompts. Answer volume is what a buyer can compare across vendors; prompt counts are not.
- We publish the measurement date. A price read on 29 October 2026 is only useful if you know when it was read. Prices in this category move.
How to cite this
VisibleDiagnostic, "What AI visibility tools actually charge (checked 29 October 2026)", visiblediagnostic.com, accessed .
Method: each vendor's public pricing page, fetched 29 October 2026 with curl and, where bot protection blocked it, a headless Chromium session. Quotas and tier names are copied from the page text. Annual prices are noted where published. Two vendors (loamly.ai, searchscore.ai) could not be verified and are excluded.
Corrections: if a price here is wrong, the page has moved, or you are a vendor who wants to correct a row, the fastest route is the contact link on the original article. We will update the date and the note rather than quietly editing the row.
