Made a free Salah (prayer) app: accurate times, Adhan, Qibla — fully on-device, no data collection

I'm a solo dev, and as a Muslim I use a prayer-times app every day — but the popular ones got bloated, ad-heavy, and quietly data-hungry (accounts, location uploads, trackers). I wanted the opposite, so I built Salah Tracker.
Everything runs on your device — no account, no login, no servers of mine, no data collection. Your location is only used locally to calculate prayer times and Qibla.

What it does:
 - Accurate prayer times for your exact location (calculation method + madhab adjustable to match your local mosque)

  • Adhan (call to prayer) notifications, on time, even when the app is closed
  • Qibla compass
  • Prayer tracking with streaks, plus Azkar & a Tasbih counter
  • Light/dark mode     It's free (one small banner ad) and Android-only for now. It's a v1 from a solo dev, so I'd genuinely love honest feedback on accuracy and the notifications — and what you'd want next.    Disclosure: I'm the developer. Play Store link in a comment 👇 Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.istiqamah.app    Happy to answer anything about how the prayer-time calculations work (methods, madhab, Qibla) — and feedback is very welcome 🙏
