Metis is a permissionless Layer 2 network powering the future of decentralized applications. As the first Layer 2 solution with a decentralized sequencer, it continues to expand its ecosystem by supporting innovative projects and developers.

Recently, Metis partnered with Gitcoin for the Metis x Gitcoin Grant QF #1 where 3,000 METIS tokens (valued at $105,480) and an additional $37,750 in crowdfunding were distributed to 34 projects.

Now, Metis is collaborating with Thrive Protocol to offer further incentives through the Thrive Metis Startathon.

What is the Thrive Metis Startathon?

Image description

The Thrive Metis Startathon is a 13-week grants program aimed at supporting multiple Web3 projects. It bridges the gap between a traditional hackathon and a full accelerator, providing the structure and resources needed for projects to grow and succeed.

With 200,000 METIS in funding available, the program will distribute grants to numerous developers and teams who are building in key areas of the Metis ecosystem, such as:

  • Cross-Chain DeFi Solutions and CCIP

  • Real-World Asset (RWA) Tokenization Platforms

  • Tokenized Communities and Gamified Social Platforms

How to Participate

Developers interested in joining can apply through the Thrive Metis website here.

Please note:

  • KYC completion is mandatory to qualify for the grant.

  • A short video showcasing project milestones will be required before acceptance into the program.

This is a great opportunity for Web3 developers to secure funding and contribute to the growth of the Metis ecosystem. Don’t be left out.
