Depending on their intent, hackers are classified into distinct categories:
🛡️ White Hat Hackers (Ethical Hackers): The digital world's heroes. They operate legally, hired by organizations to find vulnerabilities and fix them before malicious actors can exploit them.
🏴☠️ Black Hat Hackers: The classic malicious threat actors whose intent is strictly illegal—stealing sensitive data, extorting organizations, or causing infrastructure disruption.
🩶 Grey Hat Hackers: Operating in a middle ground, they may breach systems without permission, but instead of causing harm, they report the flaw to the organization (sometimes for a bounty).
💻 Script Kiddies: Novice individuals who lack deep coding skills but use pre-built tools and scripts found online to cause disruptions.
Golden Rule: Much like a locksmith who understands a lock's weakness to make it safer, an ethical hacker uses their skills to secure digital assets rather than exploit them.
