I built a free extension that applies to jobs for me. It got me 5 interviews in one week.

I'm a junior developer looking for a job. I was fed up with browsing job ads on several sites, checking whether they matched my criteria, and then filling in yet another application form.

So I built JobAgent to automate that part of my search.

You add your CV, choose the job sites and say what you're looking for: minimum salary, location, remote work, experience level, contract type, and even the companies to avoid.

For example, I can look for developer positions around Paris, with remote work and a salary starting at €50,000. If an ad asks for 8 years of experience and my limit is 5 years, it is dropped, with the reason shown.

For the offers that match, the extension fills in the forms and sends the applications with my CV.

Usually, I minimise the window and let it work. About 15 minutes later, a notification gives me the result:

  • The applications sent and confirmed.
  • The offers dropped, with a reason for each.
  • What I have to finish myself.

I got 5 interviews in one week during my own search, so I wanted to make the tool available to other people.

It's free, no account to create, and the extension never asks for your passwords. It works on Chrome, Edge and Brave.

Install JobAgent from the Chrome Web Store — the extension has been reviewed and approved by Google.

If you're looking for a job, try it and tell me what you'd add or change. I read every reply.
