I Built a New AI Product. PASIUS. Here is a Brief of It.

How I Started Learning LangChain and Ended Up Building Pasius

Few months ago, I decided to learn LangChain and LangGraph, since this is where the world is heading.

AI, Agentic systems, Machine Learning, Human-in-the-loop… I am sure you've heard those words more than a thousand times nowadays.

So I did what everyone usually does when wanting to learn something. YouTube.

I searched for a LangChain tutorial and I was fully locked into it, and ready to soon be able to build an AI chatbot.

The Problem With This Approach

The first problem I faced in this first tutorial is that it is OUTDATED.

SPOILER: If you want to learn any AI library or framework, your first enemy is outdatedness.

These kinds of frameworks are constantly evolving and improving. A tutorial that was dropped 3 months ago will definitely be outdated today.

LangChain docs change, function signatures change, library and module names change — I was spending more hours debugging with Claude and searching for current documentation and syntax rather than focusing on learning.

Second problem is what I like to call COURSE INADAPTABILITY.

No course is designed to your likings. Take university, for example — no course is designed the way you want it to be, and that's trivial. No YouTube course, Udemy, or Skillshare is designed the way you want it to be.

And for me, when it comes to learning something new, I want my full focus to be on it, and to have it covering topics related to what I aim to build or learn.

These two problems were the core of my frustration when it comes to learning a new skill online.

The Idea of Pasius & the 3-Step System

Before I tell you how Pasius was created, let me briefly continue this journey of learning LangChain and LangGraph.

I went to my trusted friend, Claude. And I asked it to teach me these two topics. But here's what I did differently than most people writing a prompt.

Instead of saying:

"Hey Claude, I want to learn LangChain and LangGraph, can you help?"

I gave it a 3-step system:

  1. I told Claude what I want to learn, what my current knowledge is, how deep I want the course, and what is currently bugging me.
  2. I then asked it to build me an N-phased curriculum that teaches specifically what I need for my goals.
  3. For teaching methodology, I asked it to quiz me and make me build a project before each phase.

And I have to say, this technique worked, and I was more motivated to learn than with any tutorial available on the internet.

So this is where it clicked for me. And Pasius was created.

Pasius: An AI Agentic Learning Platform

Pasius is not a chatbot. Pasius is a teaching aid.

A more formal definition: Pasius is an agentic learning platform that assesses the user's current state and builds a curriculum specifically tailored to the user's learning goals, then teaches it with precision.

Why Pasius?

Pasius has a built-in, well-structured, and well-designed learning path that it creates specifically for you.

The whole aim of Pasius is to teach you what you want, at your own pace and peace of mind, knowing that this curriculum is built specifically for you.

How Did Pasius Solve the 2 Frustrations?

1. Pasius is an AI that builds the learning curriculum specifically based on its assessment of you. It asks you defined questions to build a profile of you, to be able to build a curriculum around that profile.

2. Outdatedness was my core frustration — without the ability for the AI to search the web live, it may give you outdated classes, libraries, or best practices. That's why Pasius has the ability to search the web and return up-to-date information, to help you stay on track with current changes.

Is Pasius Really for You? Here's How to Know

The question is simple: "Have you ever wanted to learn something at your own pace, with live feedback, with a curriculum tailored to your specific learning goals?"

If that's a "yes," then you and I are in the same boat, and Pasius aims to solve this learning frustration.

The Beginning of Pasius

Pasius is currently in its early stage. To be more specific, we are still in the waitlist stage, and we are hoping to launch Pasius soon after the waitlist.

If this interests you and you want to support Pasius, consider signing up for the Pasius waitlist — you can find it on the Pasius website
