If You Feel Like You’re Not Good Enough, Read This

You're right. You're probably not good enough. Yet.

That senior developer who seems to know everything? Started exactly where you are. Felt exactly what you feel.

That AI researcher publishing papers? Struggled with basic Python once.

That founder with 10k followers? Posted to zero engagement for months.

I've been coding for 2 years. I'm still not good enough.
I fail more builds than I ship.
I Google syntax I should know by heart.
I read documentation 5 times and still don't get it.

Last month I couldn't debug async functions. Now I can.
Three months ago I didn't understand Docker. Now I do.
Six months ago I couldn't deploy anything. Now I have 3 projects live.

You're not supposed to feel competent while learning.

That anxiety you feel when starting a new project? That's not imposter syndrome. That's your brain accurately assessing that you're attempting something at the edge of your ability.

Good.

Stay there.

The developers who 'made it' didn't feel ready when they:

Applied for their first job
Pushed their first production code
Started their first side project
Published their first tutorial

They did it anyway.

so stop waiting to feel ready. Nobody ever does.

Start building anyway.
