How to choose idea for your startup

When you choose a problem and you already know there are competitors in this market, this is a good signal because you can capture market share, and that's how you get paying clients.

Here are 12 points: everything you need to know before launching your project:

1. The Core Problem

  • 1. What problem are you solving and for whom?
  • 2. How quickly can you provide the user with a solution to this problem, and can you do so?

2. Competitive Landscape

  • 3. How many competitors are solving the same problem?
  • 4. What is the quality of these competitors: corporations, solopreneurs, or venture capital firms?
  • 5. Total volume of installs (leads) and what percentage each one accounts for?
  • 6. What features have been implemented in each product: core and supporting features. Are there any patterns?

3. Market Demand & Marketing

  • 7. What patterns are commonly used in marketing?
  • 8. How many people search for this in search and in which countries?
  • 9. How much does a search click cost?
  • 10. Overall niche dynamics – is it growing or declining?
  • 11. How often does a user need the product?
  • 12. What is the most common pricing plan?

Technical & SEO Realities

The hardest thing to raise in the beginning is the Domain Authority (DA).

Now, to build your link mass, you need to understand how much you're willing to work with the chosen product. If you're willing to invest, it's better to publish on sites with a high DA.

I recently went through this exact process when launching my project, https://customergpt.ai
