Prometheus json_exporter: Monitor any JSON API endpoint with Prometheus

In this 9 minute hands-on video I use the Prometheus json_exporter to retrieve metrics from a JSON API and get them into Prometheus.

I explain that the json_exporter is actually just one of hundreds of potential exporters, so pretty much anything (from hardware to Kubernetes clusters) can be monitored with Prometheus.

As always, the Git repo is available to copy/paste from (see link in pinned comment).

Try REST API Generation for MS SQL Server.

DreamFactory generates live REST APIs from database schemas with standardized endpoints for tables, views, and procedures in OpenAPI format. We support on-prem deployment with firewall security and include RBAC for secure, granular security controls.
