Have you ever finished a chess game, wanted to see where it went wrong, and hit a paywall? 😤 Most chess sites give you a few free reviews and then ask you to pay. I wanted something different, so I built ChessPractice, a chess website where learning from your games is free. 🚀
Here is what it offers.
🔍 Free game review powered by Stockfish
After a game, you can review it with Stockfish, one of the strongest chess engines in the world. You get best-move lines and win-probability scoring, so you can see exactly where a game turned. There are no daily limits on reviews.
🧩 Puzzles for every level
The puzzle trainer has five difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard, Extreme and Impossible. They are based on real puzzle ratings, so Easy is gentle and Impossible is truly brutal. A puzzle never shows up twice, so you always get something new. 💡 Hints are there when you get stuck.
⚔️ Play real games
Jump into rated Blitz 3+0 with a colour drawn at random, and watch your rating move. The board supports dragging pieces, premoves, right-click arrows and highlighting squares, the same tools you would expect from a serious chess site. 🎯
🏆 Leaderboards and a game archive
See how you rank against other players, and keep every game you play in your own archive so you can come back and review it later. 📚
💬 A friendly community
Chat in the community, send private messages, and find players in the lobby. Chess is more fun with other people. 🤝
🛡️ Fair play
Stalling and disconnects are handled, with clear time limits at the start of a game, so a match does not get ruined by someone who simply refuses to play.
⭐ Premium, if you want more
The core of the site is free. Premium adds the hardest puzzle levels and extras like best move suggestions, and you can choose a monthly or yearly plan.
Who is it for?
It is built for beginners who want to understand their mistakes, club players who want to train tactics, and anyone who is tired of paywalled game analysis. ♟️
