Day 1 of my DevOps journey

Going Back to Linux
I’ve been interning as a Cloud & DevOps Engineer at Bloomy Technology for a few months now. But today I decided to do something different — I’m restarting my learning properly, from the real foundation, and documenting the entire process publicly.
Day 1 was Linux.
Most people want to jump straight into Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud dashboards. I chose to slow down and get comfortable in the terminal instead. I spent time practicing the everyday commands that every DevOps engineer uses constantly: pwd, ls, cd, mkdir, touch, cat, cp, mv, and rm.
What I realized is simple but important: almost every server you’ll work with in the cloud runs on Linux. If you don’t feel at home in the terminal, everything else becomes harder later.
This is just the starting point.
In the coming days I’ll go deeper into Linux, then move into Git, cloud fundamentals, containers, and eventually real projects. My goal is to stay consistent and share the process honestly so other beginners can follow along too.
